Swinney was a better coach than Harbaugh at that time. Getting the ring just makes it a no-doubter.

Clemson fans love the guy, and there was very little complaining about Swinney after the game.

You're projecting what Pitt fans would act like on other fan bases.

I dunno. I certainly saw it here by a few Clemson fans.
It probably was tempered by the fact that it still looked like they were going to reach the playoffs.
