Wow Pitt would be Big 10 Champions!!

No, you probably have your most talented team. All i hear is excuses. Like we didn't have a ton of change and injuries that decimated the team at O line, and linebacker. Blaming refs, your coach, who many wanted gone, as well as Connor on the bench. SMH. Football is a 60 minute game, just ask OSU. We had a blown play in the end zone or we probably win. You couldn't stop us. It didn't happen, oh well. I don't need to blame refs or make excuses. If you don't believe that, go back and look at the board and game thread. We lost the game, and moved on. We also got much better on offense and defense.

To hear people say Pitt would have won the BIG East when they didn't even win their own division is ridiculous. Two of the top 5 defenses are in the B1G East. Penn State is top 20, and better after tomorrow. We will have played 5 top 25 defenses after next Saturday. Our schedule was just fine. Pitt nor Penn State has near the talent of OSU or Michigan, but Penn State is getting closer.

-Which means shit. Since Pitt put 42 on your Top 20 defense. And 43 on Clemson at Clemson, a Top 5 defense. We also scored 36 on Virginia Tech, another Top 20 defense. Our offense would light up Michigan and Ohio State too. The QB play when comparing the ACC to the Big Ten is like comparing the NFL to high school. Big Ten QB's are garbage.

Our best win on the road was Indiana. That's life in a tough conference. Indiana also took a number of teams to the wire like Michigan. One game does not make a season, it's all the games. Last year we played 10 straight games before a bye. It's life, but I don't whine about it.

-Wake Forest beat Indiana at Indiana

-If you lined up the ACC Coastal against the Big Ten East, the ACC Coastal would win head to head. The bottom 4 teams in the Big Ten East are complete pushovers and Pitt already beat Penn State. I will give you the Iowa win however. Although Iowa beat Michigan against Michigans 2nd string QB.

Like your predictions previously, garbage. What matters is how a team grows and becomes better throughout the year. You might want to see Trace's stats on QB's. And remember when you were calling for your QB's head? I wasn't, nor was Narduzzi.

-Im about 120 % positive I predicted Pitt would beat Penn State and run hog wild all over Penn State. With Pitt winning and running for 350 yards against your defense, I was right.

So what?. They also beat Duke, and nearly beat Florida State. Football is a game of matchups, thus why they play the game.

This statement alone means you have no clue to what you are talking about.

Pitt recruited 14 kids with 5 plus P5 offers on defense last year alone.

Replacing Peterman is the only question mark on offense next year but the coaches are high on his replacement. The WR and TE group should be better. RB and Oline should be the same.

The Dline should be the same or better. LB AND DB should be better.

All of the kids that flashed high level skill other than Price are young.

No, you probably have your most talented team.

I know reality sucks, but what conference has 4 10 win teams? The BIG, everyone else, 2 at most. To think that the BIG sucks is utter nonsense, and no analyst agrees with that, not one. Nor would any coach say that. Go find one.
Are 41 experts enough for you or would you like more?

Power Rankings Composite covers 41 major indexes, experts and predictors and the results place the ACC=#3 and Big 10=#4 conferences. Major power rankings include USA Today Sagarin ACC=3 Big 10=4, ESPN Power Index ACC=3 Big 10=5, Dokter ACC=3 Big 10=5, Massey ACC=3 Big 10=4, Donchess Interfernece ACC=3 Big 10=4.

The Big 10 is incredibly strong at the top, but incredibly weak at the bottom.
Big 10 has 3 top 10 teams, ACC has 1.
BIG 10 has 5 top 30, ACC has 5.
Big 10 has 7 top 50, ACC has 8.
The Big 10 has 3 teams rank 100-128, ACC has 1.

Haha Indiana?????? They almost lost to ball state at home and Purdue and they DID lose to wake forest and northwestern.

That's akin to us bragging about beating Marshall

Indiana also lost to Wake Forest at home and ended the season with a 6-6 record. Quit acting like they are a top 25 team. Just because they took some BIG teams to the wire shows how week your conference is, not how great it is. They lost to every BIG team with a winning record they played.

So your conference had four 10 win teams, what do you think that means? They had 7 teams with a winning record compared to the ACC's 8 teams and the BIG had four teams with a losing record compared to the ACC's three. The ACC has more bowl eligible teams and was 3-1 vs the BIG. They were 6-3 vs the SEC by the way.

You're the same bonehead that said PoSU would beat Pitt THIS year! Quit being a homer.

PSU would beat Pitt by about two touchdowns on neutral site with the way they are playing second half of season. I think just about every non Pitt or PSU fan would agree with that

Also, PSU may hang 50 on Pitt next year in SC. 1 senior leaves on offense.

That's not his point. I know its hard for you to get his point because it goes against everything you believe. Almost beating is not the same as beating. You guys tout Indiana as a really good BIG team. They may be a good BIG team, but they are not a good team.

Penn State is a good team. They are probably somewhere around the 20th best team in the country. But they got a very favorable schedule. They lost their 2 toughest road games and the only 4 other teams with a pulse that they played, they played at home and won close games vs all (Temple, Min, OSU, Iowa though that was a blowout).

Pitt is also 10-2 vs that schedule. Maybe 11-1 but full credit for beating the teams in front of them and taking advantage of weak schedule.
Now THAT's funny. 20th? LOL

This. They are a good team but just happened to get almost every tough game at home. I think they are top 15. I think pitt and psu are pretty even. If u swap our game after we played (home temple/road ok st) we would both be 9-3.

That is probably the fairest comparison of the teams I have seen. I agree you would go 9-3 if you swapped out Temple for Okie State. With Conference realignment, it is tough to say which is a better conference. Michigan, OSU and Clemson are a bit better than the rest. Louisville, FSU, Wisky, PSU, PITT, UNC, Miami, Iowa, Nebraska and VA Tech are all pretty even in my eyes. the rest are suspect in both conferences.
