Has the ACC leader ever not be ranked or securely in the field with a week left in the season? I do think Pitt might finally get ranked this week.
If UVA loses today or Tuesday vs Clemson, Pitt can clinch a share of the title Wednesday.
Bottom line... beat Notre Dame and Pitt clinches at least a share of the ACC title. Let's do this!!!
Sights should be higher, but it should be noted that Pitt’s magic number to clinch a double bye appears to be 1. One Pitt win or one Duke loss (VT, NC ST at UNC) guarantees a bye to the quarters. It is also possible that if the worst case scenario happens and both Pitt and Duke end at 14-6 Pitt could still get a double bye due to multi-team tiebreakers.
Really enjoyed the second half and it was great to see the seniors get a wonderful send off.
