This doesn't surprise me. His decisiveness stood out to me more than anything else (of course, my main comparison for him is PJ and his decisiveness was not strong). I would have to think teams are going to start jumping routes to try to take advantage of that.
I realize the stats weren't good in his limited playing
time. The UNC game he came in cold. His offensive
line was a mess, as was our whole offense. As for
Louisville, I give him a pass on his first several
throws. Took time to get settled, and it was a rain
storm. One he got his feet under him, he actually
played decently. Not great, but decent. Given the
circumsances, IMO he's a ray of hope. Let's see how
he starts out against WF. Let's see if he progresses,
and builds on the improvement we saw in the
Louisville game.
