Sarcasm I hope. Could be the worst restaurant on the planet.Olive Garden in Robinson

Pffft. Wrong. Everyone knows it’s Bucca di Beppo.
Don't joke... that's some "celebrate a promotion" sh*t for me. Have to settle for King's spaghetti in the meantime.

I prefer Rizzo’s in Crabtree, but Gianilli’s in Greensburg fine also.Rizzo’s Malabar Inn in Crabtree or Rizzo’s in Windber?
The Crabtree restaurant is very good but I prefer Gianilli’s.
The ala familia also has a really good woman's softball teamIt used to be Piccolo Piccolo. It is now Alla Familia.
you ever go to Rizzo's which is out that way? I hear a lot about but never went
Best shelf of cognacs around. Easily drop a bill for a single shot. And maybe 30 years ago for me.Ah, memories of Tambellini's headed up the backside of Mt Washington. Not there anymore, was great
Sarafinos! Great Pitt man who owns it and the food is really good. BYOB
We were there once and the next table over was the CBS football crew...Aikman and Co

Seriously none of you have been to D'Anoia's in the strip. Hands down
I always thought the Pleasure Bar in Bloomfield had terrific Lasagna. Thick and plentiful. Absolutely delicious
I frequent the Pleasure Bar... great mafaldo sauce...
Many years ago there was a place in Prince Galitzin that Pittsburghers used to take a 2 hour drive to eat there. Pretty sure it’s long gone. Can’t remember the name— maybe Herculinis (Sp.?). There also was a really good Northern Italian place in Churchill in the 1970s that was superb. Also must be long gone from the Pittsburgh area—like me!
Got me thinking on the Churchill place." Gotta be Tony D'Imperios place was near Sears after the Jonette Bldg.

Might have been.
My family owns Piazza Talarico and Papa Joe’s wine cellar. 39th and Penn in Lawrenceville. We are operating on a limited takeout menu because of covid and being short staffed because of it as well. Monday-Friday 12-8 PM. If you’re looking for a red sauce joint, and authentic Southern Italian food, give us a try. Run by Pitt grads, the Narduzzi’s and Capel’s frequent our place. We also make our own wine and sell it to go.
Hail to Pitt!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed!Welcome to the lair! I've have been there and should have mentioned your place on this thread! Very good, and as you say very Pitt friendly. Good luck to you & your business as you navigate these difficult times.
