OK. He just spent five years getting the Pitt program back on its feet. I’m sure he is looking forward to going to another disaster and starting over.
He's trying to cash in on this season and get a contract that will pay him a few million beyond 2027. I think he would prefer that to be Pitt. Unfortunately, his 5 year performance doesn't merit a long term marriage from Pitt's viewpoint. He still needs to try to leverage this season try to get more money out of Pitt. There is a legit possibility he's going to be bought out next year if he stays at Pitt, as he loses the only two guys that didn't play scared yesterday. (Burton & Sibande)
