Why oh why oh why did Dixon go back to the zone? Got torched earlier. Went back to it and got torched again with yet another 3. Took Pitt out of the game, after fighting hard to get back into it.
They sure teased us there, had it down to 6 and it could have been 4 if not for the Young and Maia FT misses. Thinking we might go into halftime with the chance for an interesting 2nd half, and the next thing you know that 6-pt lead is 15.
Milligan must not be very good or else our staff is dumb for RS him.
Three, missed layup, dunk, turnover, three pretty much put an end to that.
That was a really bad display of basketball, offense and defense. No continuity on offense or hustle on defense, just poor.
Something. Sure, confidence is bad, but where is his BB IQ? My god, he has to realize some of those times he has to kick it out because he is in jail. This isn't MD Eastern Shore or any of those OOC slugs where he fattened up his stats.

Actually, our man to man D hasn't been bad today, given the talent, size and quickness of the opponent. Our poor D is on Dixon for his decision to go to the zone, which was a disaster.

How can we be this far into the season and this coaching staff has no set rotation and no idea who's good at what. The entire team looks like the season started yesterday. The last 4 minutes and the offense relied on Robinson's ability to score- you know the team's in trouble when that's the case. Oh and by wayway, this is a team we beat last year.
He's much better when he passes the ball as soon as the double team comes at him, and he seemingly has forgotten that the last couple of weeks.
Brandon K jumped up behind JD and yelled for young to get to the right block to defend down low. He never made it there and got slammed on. Made the patented gesture of, "WHO, me"?
No, you are wrong about Young. He is forced to make 1on1 moves because the guards cant dribble penetrate OR make entry passes and get him the ball. Your offense shouldnt run thru your 4.
I find no joy in watching this team..Looks like the JV playing the varsity and they are scared to death.
So that is what the announcers refer to when they say, "he can play anywhere"? Even we he can barely play his own spot.
Lol yes that was basically my point. Obviously they're not gonna come back playing like this, but the game isn't won in the first half. To come back though they would just have to play at a level that we basically have not even seen possible from this bunch.
It to me looks like a decent high school class A team playing the AAAA state champs.
Wow, we're losing by 13 and we've actually taken 7 more shots than UNC. Considering the # of possessions where we didn't get a shot off because of turnovers or just plain bad O, that's amazing. Must have a lot of offensive rebounds even though overall we're also getting out-rebounded. Don't get many defensive rebounds with UNCs transition layups and open 3's.
