Dems don't believe in women's rights any longer, if they ever did. This isn't about trans issues or men in women's locker rooms. This is about women's rights. Now we know the Dems hate women and will not allow them the rights of every other human being.
It’s all about victimhood. To progressives there is always a more oppressed group than you.
In future election cycles, we will be debating MAPS (minor attracted people) and the Dems will be telling us that it’s not an issue and it’s a figment of our imagination and/or fear mongering. We’ve seen this all before. We know how the slippery slope works, through experience.
Take away victimhood and virtue and what would the Dems have? They have no plan. They have no direction. They offer nothing but opposition. And trump is fortunate to have the stupid and weirdest opposition ever.
I think your last statement was the most accurate. The Dems have to create victims in order for them to appear to be more virtuous than the rest of us
I don’t have the data to prove it statistically but I think it’s because the vast majority of. Far left liberals do not believe in God This site is a perfect example. Just about every lib mocks the pretend image in the sky. As a result without God and in particular Jesus Christ people are searching for ways to feel good about themselves
So I would say that most more extreme liberals (vast majority on this site but not all) do not have God in their life and need the victimhood narrative to make them feel virtuous
Yeah states with closed primaries suck, like Pennsylvania. I am actually a registered drumroll please..................Democrat. Because at least I can vote for someone in local primaries as Allegheny County is a wasteland for Republicans. So I try and keep the Gainey's, Immariatos, and Summer Lee's off of the general election ballot. Obviously there are enough cucks here that allow them to be the D representative.
The only thing about this, and we have had these debates, some of these folks like Muslims do believe in God. And believe you should too. Or die. Religion has probably killed more people than cancer. But I digress......I do agree with you the lack of a moral compass is eroding our society. It is okay to test and explore boundaries, that is natural and that is what gets technological advancements. But to artificially create new boundaries just because you can chop up society into smaller groups and explain to them how the white majority is keeping them down...well that is progressivism.

I agree. We need to get away from this linear left/right spectrum. People have views that can be all.over the place. I don't want those who want a national health coverage system for all Americans lumped in with those supporting men playing women's college sports.
The thing is who wants a monolithic society when it comes solutions to making our country better ? We need different perspectives and hopefully we can come up with hybrid solutions that are even better

Last night Corey O’Connor won the Democratic nomination for mayor. Gainey yells it was rigged. Really!

He received the Dem endorsement. It likely is always rigged. Not defending Gainey, but Corey has been placed on track to be the Mayor for a long time now. Gainey was just keeping Corey's seat warm.
Gainey, Lee and Innamorato were all installed in their positions, not elected. There is no way any sane person would vote for any of them. I'm not a city resident but I'm pleased that O'Connor received the Dem party endorsement. I don't agree with all of his positions, but I think Pittsburgh needs an honorable, decent person to be the mayor. Gainey can't even speak the English language and he's a flaming racist. He's not qualified to walk a dog.
If anything, it was rigged for Gainey because that's the only way he won before. Corey won by only 3 votes I believe, which is bulls%$t. He really won by a lot more than that, but the Gainey minions rigged the whole thing. They failed.
They are both clowns. Corey saying that his opponent for Controller had no financial background was the Chef's Kiss of political hilariousness.
It has been rigged for Corey for over a decade now. Doug Shields exited the City Council race to usher in Corey for Greenfield and SH neighborhoods. Bob O'Conner had a lot of friends, and they are going to make sure that Corey becomes Mayor.

TBH, I find it scary to go into the city for anything. It's even scary to go to places that used to be nice, like Shadyside. The place is a ghost town now, businesses of value have moved out, and there are weirdos littering the streets. Pittsburgh was bad before, but it's gotten worse since Gainey and his crew have been around.

Here’s the issue with the Gainey administration. He hired SEIU members to work in his office. I dealt with the SEIU for 26 years not the smartest people. In fact that union was so corrupt that the NYC local SEIU had to take over the Pittsburgh local. I also dealt with the Teamsters union and I rather deal with the teamsters any day than the SEIU because of their stupidity. And this is what makes up the Gainey administration. They don’t know how to do business in or for Pittsburgh.
I just have to hear Gainey talk and I know for a fact that he is very stupid. That's why he likes to surround himself with stupid people. Gainey is barely literate and can't speak English at all.
