NCAA Seeding

Love Cole’s draw, Micky’s isn’t bad except for RBY, not loving Nino’s because max dean is lurking, everyone else is what they are.

I like Cole’s seed. Micky has tough path but we knew that was going to be the case. Nino the one but man that is a tough path

Aaron Brooks the 3 wow

Not a huge fan of Cole's draw, the Beau match will be interesting and has already lost to Alirez

While one will knock out the other how is it that the two B1G finalists at 197 are 8/9 seeds in Ninos quadrant that’s a tough draw to face either Dean or Allred but maybe those two will wear each other out… also Camacho got screwed…

Some of the seeding makes no sense. Having Dean in quarters is ridiculous for Nino. Dean is the defending national champion and is seeded 9th? Some of the top seeds have wrestled almost no ranked guys where as the Big 10 guys have beat each other up. Brooks seeded 3rd is just plain stupid.

I've run 13 full simulations of NCAAs so far and will share the Pitt results here.

133: Micky reached the blood round 4 times out of 13, going 2-2 and placing 6th in both of his successful attempts. He won his opening match against Teske only 5x and went 1-4 vs. Nagao in R16. Usually faced Colaiocco in Consi 2 round and was 2-6 in that matchup.

141: Cole placed in all 13 sims, never faltering in the first two rounds. Cole was 2-0 vs. Carlson and 5-6 vs. Bartlett in the quarters. Faced Alirez all seven times in the semis, winning once and falling to Woods in the final.
Places: 3,3,2,7,4,8,5,6,4,4,5,4,6

165: Heller never gets past Facundo in the first round (hopefully not the case). 10-3 vs. Caleb Fish in Consi 1, then Consi 2 opponents were Dean Hamiti (0-2 vs.) and Peyton Hall (2-6 vs.). In the two sims where Holden took out Hall, he fell to Patrick Kennedy in Consi 3 (top 16). If Heller could win his opening match, he'd stay away from that awful backside draw.

174: Luca went 0-2 in ten sims and 1-2 in the other three. Still, Plott has taken some losses this year and I like Luca against Columbia's Wolak or Oregon State's Olmos in that first consolation match.

184: Reece reached the top 16 four times in 13 sims. He was 2-11 in the first round against Samuelson after beating him 7-6 in the dual, and got waxed by 1 seed Keckeisen in the two sims where he advanced. The Consi 2 match will not be one you want to miss, it'll be against Rutgers' Soldano (2-8 vs.) or MSU's Malczewski (2-1 vs). They are both high fliers and risk takers like Heller.

197: Nino won the bracket seven times and placed in 11/13 of them. In the quarters he was 7-2 vs. Dean and 2-2 vs. Allred. He was 9-0 in the semis (Bastida 5x, Beard 3x, Laird 1x) and 7-2 in the finals (all vs. Elam or Truax).
Places: 5,1,1,2,1,1,1,2,3,1,DNP,DNP,1

Have not calculated any team scores yet, will put that together sometime this week.
