Now, can we PLEASE fire Dixon?

You can't separate this current disaster from Dixon. It all started with him still at the helm. Why and how did he lose the program? Would we be better if he had stayed? Maybe.

Lol. Still can’t admit you were wrong.
You are one sad, pathetic weirdo. Jamie has won one NCAAT game in 10 years. He left Pitt on his own and it had nothing to do with what some free message board internet posters thought.

You are certainly allowed to believe that Jamie with his recruiting trend and 3 NCAAT wins in his final 7 years and 1 in his final 5 would have miraculously turned it around. You are free to worship the man because maybe he bought your Antoon's while you still had pimples or you're a geriatric who thought he was a nice young whippersnapper. Jamie is probably the most successful coach we'll ever have, but he's been gone for 6 years now. Let it go.

Jamie leaving was not the problem. Hiring Stallings while the program was still relevant was and will always be the issue. Just because some fans weren't okay with ACC-Jamie doesn't mean that they were 'wrong' and it wasn't time for a fresh start for both sides once there was a change in conferences and both academic and athletic leadership at Pitt.

How cute this thread is. We were pissed after a tournament loss. Our biggest fear was only “half filling” the Pete and turning into Boston College.

Can you imagine if 6,250 showed up for our game vs BC this year? It would be the biggest crowd we've had in years bu several thousand.

This program now is in a very sad state. The attendance, of lack of it, is a symptom and is justified. When our largest crowd this year will probably be no bigger than 3,000, changes in leadership need to be made soon.

I think we get 8K-10K for Duke though it will be 75% Duke fans.

Interestingly, they haven't released single game tickets for that game yet. Will they be $120 for uppers like in past years? At this point, I'd say, yea, go ahead and guage the Duke fans.
