Sorta , kinda , not really but close to the Yuengling place it's great beer.
If you call Yuengling you get Bill Yuengling sometimes. He handles any issues with his product!
Family business.
so your whole stchick is a game ? thats cool but I thought you where real.
Have fun my man.

I would have yanked him after 3-0. He started last night too.

Great job getting up 3-0 and Murray making big saves to keep a comeback from happening.

Really like the Gudbranson trade.
I remember hearing McCann was a throw in to offset Sheahan.....he's the best player in that trade!

If the Pens do get in McCann and ZAR are the guys who can potentially have the biggest influences.

Yesterday sucked but amongst then Tuesday and tonight that’s 5/6 against teams they’re battling. Maybe yesterday was just unlucky.

Any chance we can ger Kessell suspended for 2-3 games? I really think he needs a week off

Kessel is definitely enigmatic. Who knows if hell show up if the Pens get in. Hornqvist on the other hand is probably gun shy because of the injuries. That’ll most likely change in the postseason.

I heard pretty much the opposite, that they really wanted McCann, although they also liked Bjugstad.

Love the fact they went back to Murray tonight. Whatever you think of him, the Pens are going to sink or swim with him. Great response. Look, I am not blind to Murray's struggles. But this game it was weird, I felt a calm by him. When he is on, that is the way it feels. When he is not, he is flashing/flailing to defend his crease.

I also love the way the Pens played. When Murray is playing calm, it seems like the team in front of him plays the same way.

Sid is just friggin awesome. I mean AWESOME. Still. So few players in any sport have lived up to their hype as he has. Love Guentzel with him. Not only had the IQ but the talent to read off him. Also loved McCann with him. McCann is a former #1st rounder, so he has talent. This could be a dominant line going forward.

I thought the D was good, though I also think Montreal is a bit of a fraud as a contender for the playoffs.

Big 2 points. Should have never given up a point last night. Again, loved Sully going back with Murray tonight. He has to respond like he did tonight for the Pens to be successful.

Yup one of the Pens sites indicated that They think McCann has huge upside and was the guy they really wanted

Funny
Despite all teeth gnashing and panic here for the past week, the Pens still captured 6 of 8 points on this four game road trip

Plenty of hockey left, people love to live game to game. I wouldn't be surprised to see them on top of the division at the end of the season. Not that it matters much in hockey.

I totally agree and it was also referenced much earlier in this thread (maybe even by you) that that is the biggest difference in Murray these last two years compared to the first two. He never had any major highs and lows. It was a very stolid and a self confident demeanor that allowed him to bounce back. That has not been on display since then and part of it is probably the lack of a veteran pushing him and a bigger part is his father passing away.

Really the important position in the playoff race is in. But the second most important position is the spot you don't have to play the Lightening in Rd 1.

I disagree in that seeding doesn’t matter. Whoever you draw in the first round can matter a great deal. In fact, there was a team not long ago who tanked their last regular season game in order to avoid the Pens in round 1. Home ice on the other hand is pretty overrated to the point that “anything can happen in game 7” is a cliche.

The only spot that isn't good is the last WC which would be against Tampa. But still, I wouldn't automatically pick against the Pens in any series. But if the Pens finish in the 7th spot, right now they would face the Islanders. Okay? 3rd in the Metro then it is either Caps/Jackets/Isles.

So really no, seeding doesn't matter.

The Pens will definitely be that "team that no one wants to see" come playoff time.

Did you look at what you just said? Seeding hasn’t mattered to PITTSBURGH because they were built to go toe to toe with anyone and Crosby is still unequivocally the best in the world. Similarly, this year it won’t matter to TB. However, for about 8 of 10 teams fighting to get in seeding absolutely matters. The Pens would play the Islanders right now but the playoffs are in five weeks. We have no clue if they’re getting in let alone who they’re playing.

Out goes Hornqvist. Blocked a hard shot with his hand.
Will it never end??

Kessel getting unbelievable chances. My God is he snakebit!

Got a feeling we're going to win this one. Pens are getting good chances, sooner or later they'll go in.

Agree. Pens are playing really well. Dominated first period with possession in offensive end, best cycling all year. Just need to shoot more! As I type this. Guentzel shoots and scores!

I still think the NHL would prefer some new blood in the playoffs because it sure seems like the Pens get the short end of every call

You’re absolutely right about Kessel. It’s unbelievable.

4 points from firsr place, 4 points from being on the couch all summer. The end of the season is gonna be awesome. I'd love to see Guentzel get 40. He and Kessell are 2 of my favoritw players. True snipers are very rare in the NHL.

Would be nice to see Letang recover from whatever the hell he has and play soon. Next 4 games are HUGE. Go Pens!

Letang was practicing in a non contact jersey yesterday as was Maatta. It shouldn’t be long now.
