I had no ill will for the Nashville Predators going into that series. I knew they were a good team and that they had an awesome home atmosphere and I was really looking forward to it.
However, coming out of that series, I HATED that team and its fans! I still root against them every chance I get. The way they treated the Penguins as the Pens were skating around with the Stanley Cup was a disgrace.
You didn’t see it last night in Boston and really you never see it anywhere else. However, all of those hillbillies showed their ass that night and I’ll never forget that.

Am huge Predators fan and was at game 6. The Predators were cheated by an inadvertent whistle - taking back a goal in that game. Thus, the fans were irate at that.
The Pens also benefited from some close calls in game 1. Thus, the anger amongst the crowd.
Lastly, the Nashville hockey fan is not a 'rural' hillbilly crowd as was referenced above.

The Predators got absolutely robbed on that non-goal which I think would have given them a 1-0 lead on home ice. One of the most unfortunate whistles that I can remember in sports.
The "offsides" correction call that took away a another Nashville goal earlier in the series was 100% the right call.
