He still needed to dribble out of trouble. Befuddling to try and shoot against a tree when he had no prayer.
If by "slaughtered" you mean "did everything he could to get the refs to bail him out of a stupid decision" then yeah, "slaughtered".
Could have been clean, but they will be reluctant to make another call on their center (count on it)
Drive to the hoop and run into a defender who is 6 or 8 inches taller than you (or whatever the right number is) generally isn't a foul.
And the restricted area doesn't have anything to do with that call. They weren't calling a charge on Johnson. The restricted area only matters on potential charge calls, not on "regular" basketball plays.

Brown thinks too much. Every time we toss it in to him, he wants to dribble 3 or 4 times before he goes up.
He has gone over the back almost every rebound attempt.

I thought when JWF missed those 2 3s that would have put us up 13 late in the 1st Half, that might have been game. Syr went on a quick 7-0 run after that and its been 29-10 since. Pitt has gotten very few stops and cant score. Game

We have 6 fouls they have 2. These officials are a joke
All those touch fouls took our defensive intensity away. We have not played well at all, but there are some contributing reasons for that.
If only this Pitt team had Dejuan Blair to give Chukwu the Thabeet treatment. Refs aren't going to put him in his place, need an enforcer to stop his bullying inside.
