As I said at halftime, the message is attack the interior with dribble penetration. We have done the opposite. We have chosen as a team to do nothing except shoot 3s. And get blown out because of it.

Dior Johnson doesn't play that style. He attacks the interior. Constantly and relentlessly. But it is what it is.
Meh, not really. He's always been a streaky 3 point shooter. That just how Lowe is.
If you really, truly think that we shouldn't miss any open threes then you aren't nearly as smart as you think.
For the life of me, I don't see how Carrington is an NBA take right now. His shot isn't great. His decision making is poor. He's not big enough either.

I believe that. Because we should have stopped shooting them at halftime like I said. If you dont shoot any, you cant miss any, LOL.

Yeah, but if we had stopped shooting them at half time we still would have missed how many open ones? Certainly not zero.
I mean I think we'd all agree that we are settling for way too many threes here, but you can't stop shooting them altogether, and if you do shoot them you are going to miss some, even some open ones.
If Hinson could have made that last three and got it to 9 maybe we could have started to put some game pressure on Miami.

That was a bad possession. It’s almost like Capel said “don’t take a 3”. So they passed on a couple reasonable ones and wound up with a forced 2.

Lowe had a wide open 3 pointer early in the 2nd half. Id have to check the tape, but I believe he could have attacked the interior to get a wide open potential layup instead. He didn't want the layup or the interior shot, he wanted the open 3. He missed the 3 badly but probably would have made the interior shot easily. I cant blame Lowe for taking the open shot because he is a freshmen. But a seasoned player should take the free points when they are available.
This is an all freshmen backcourt. There are going to be teachable moments. My issue with this game is Capel is letting these guys as a complete team let the 3s fly constantly.
The last I checked, 5 of our last 6 made baskets are all in the interior. Why am I seeing this and the coach isn't.

Because they just banged back to back 3’s to get into the game. And a wide open 3 throughout the course of a game is worth more than any shot other than an uncontested layup PPP and they are must take shots? Someone who claims to know so much should know those obvious things
Finally hit back to back 3s on shot attempts. That brings our team average to 28% today.
