Serious red zone deficiencies. Who we missing most, playmakers or Matt Canada. Likely a little of both.
Run some kind of counter off of it - Hell, let Browne fake it and run the other way
In quarters coverage the Mike has that route. You can run that all day. Which is why you can't make a living doing what we do against teams with a fast TB
Canada certainly superior to Watson in red zone calls! But Peterman is the biggest miss. Then Aston. Then Conner. But it's college, every program loses players.
What was the purpose of stopping our offense last week for fear of giving St. Penn any info to prepare for when what really occurred is we stopped our offense from getting invaluable game type experience & reps. If Watson was salt then he would be able to call plays from scouting St Penn's game. St Penn just went to Barkley on a play that was wide open earlier in the game. That is a staff earning their money.
When you only have 12 games to play there should never be a time where a team hides or plays it safe so as not to show a future opponent anything. W/ as many formations, plays, players, etc. that a staff as at their disposal they should be able to disguise, hide or make up different plays to keep an opponent off balance considering the playmakers we have. Browne is so average & timid he will never be a gamer. His best hope is game manager at best.

Our linebackers can not cover running backs all over the field. Very few teams have linebackers capable of that.
If they play Browne any more this game, then I am going to do something else. Browne stinks.
LB is the position we have the greatest need - Defensive end is next - then offensive line depth
If Campbell and Miller are not better than Briggs, they need recruited over
I'd put in Dinucci to see what he can do. They need someone more mobile to provide another threat.
