That's good news; now, let's get a quintet of studs on the OL who can protect himHolstein is back...that needs to be attractive to WRs who are entering the portal. If I am a 4 OR 5 STAR sophomore who is buried on a power 5 team, I am looking at PITT.
Who will be our QB for the bowl game?Add Elliot Donald, Nate Yarnell, Deajon Reynolds, Lamar Seymore, Jaremiah Anglin, Noah Bigalow to the portal....
I hope they give Dugger and Diffenbauch a look. Need to know how good or bad these kids are to assess the need for a legit back up.Who will be our QB for the bowl game?
He’s heading to Kansas next seasonSomething like 1/3 of the recruits that entered the Portal were left without a home.
If you're good your theory makes sense but if you aren't it doesn't.
Kamara wishes he didn't.
Will it matter at all ?Who will be our QB for the bowl game?
Is pitt now a Cullowhee branch campus ?Another WCU Catamount looking at Pitt. LT Derek Simmons is in the portal with 1 year left. Solid pass protector who was 2nd team all conference and visiting Pitt next week. Also being courted by GT, Texas Tech, NC State, and MSU.
I am at starbucks and just spit our my coffee laughing.......
+ Fitzgerald & BassThe list of guys who we've actually seen play a good amount and I really care about coming back to Pitt is small. Louis, Biles, Lovelace, Edwards, Johnson, Neal, Scott, Brewu, Gandy, Reid, Holstein, BJ Williams. After that, who gives a damn?
+ Fitzgerald & Bass
Bass has been way more hype than substance.
David Ojiegbe to the portal.....
Dave, we hardly knew ya.....
Need more 4 star players like, Dave, Elliot, Nahki, Dorian, insert name here...etc...
It's expected to be Holstein, no? He's injury wasn't as bad as looked abd he's likely a go for the bowl game.Who will be our QB for the bowl game?
In today’s college football, isn’t that or won’t that be the case for just about every school save the handful of elites at the top of the pyramid?Man, it sucks to be a Duke fan. Any time they taste success...
Leonard... gone
Elko... gone
Murphy... done
Seems like GT has been quite the stepping stone lately, also.
Assumption or inside info?Holstein is most likely done for the year.

The latter. Very unlikely to be wrong.Assumption or inside info?
They immobilized his leg on the field before moving him.Assumption or inside info?
Did he state during his announcement that he’s available to the highest NIL bidder?
Gonna get paid bigly after stopping by Duke for a cup of coffee.
I saw Drogosh play a couple of times in H.S. He's far more athlete than he is QB. So much so Satterfield moved him to LB his freshman year at Cinci. He doesn't have a college arm.Portal officially opens for non-graduates today.
I'll look for G5 players of former top recruits looking for a new start.
Guys of potential interest:
WR
Chrison McCray (WR, Kent State): thought he played well against us
Tony Stellato (WR, Clemson)
RB
Don Chaney Jr (RB, Louisville): power back
DL
Enai White (DE, A&M): Imhotep kid
Da'Shawn Womack (DE, LSU): Baltimore kid who visited us in HS
OL
Miles McVay (OT, Bama): Holstein's recruiting class
Kam Dewberry (OG, A&M): seven starts over '22-'23. Reserve lineman this year.
Aki Ogunbiyi (OC, A&M): another kid who started some games under old staff before a reserve role this year
QB
Brady Drogosh (QB, Cincinnati): believe we tried to flip him late after Minchey flipped, need a depth guy after Yarnell left
TE
Jaden Pratt (TE, A&M): young kid, Bronkowski recruits TX
Ty Washington (TE, Arkansas)
Two thoughts on that:Man, it sucks to be a Duke fan. Any time they taste success...
Leonard... gone
Elko... gone
Murphy... done

Isn't that stamped on every college player's forehead at this point?Did he state during his announcement that he’s available to the highest NIL bidder?
Two thoughts on that:
1. There are no Duke football fans, and
2. They haven't tasted much success.
Sad reality of Pitt footballSince Pitt joined the ACC, they have twice as many 9+ win seasons as us
Of course, but some way more than othersIsn't that stamped on every college player's forehead at this point?
Why wouldn’t Colorado want to keep him? He was doing well until the injury. I am stunned they won’t stand by him through this.Did he state during his announcement that he’s available to the highest NIL bidder?
Who said Colorado wouldn’t keep him? The question is who will put up the most $.Why wouldn’t Colorado want to keep him? He was doing well until the injury. I am stunned they won’t stand by him through this.
And despite that they still have no fans, no relevance outside of a very small corner of the college football world, and frankly, no respect nationally.Since Pitt joined the ACC, they have twice as many 9+ win seasons as us
