Honestly, I just can’t understand the disconnect in people constantly railing on things like dixon’s ACC record, which was two games over .500, but at the same time defending what the results will be this year and also for last year’s team.

I've just read through an entire thread of 80+ replies, and not one person railed on Dixon (unless I missed it). Yet, it was a perfectly good thread that talked about Pitt basketball, good and bad, until you chimed in with your anti Stallings stuff.

DT started this thread with a great post and had hoped that the responses would go a certain way. They did...until you chimed in.

I bet if this board goes one day without a Stallings bitch fest, you wouldn't see Jamie's name mentioned.

The most constant thing on this board is your agenda against Stallings. Let it go for a while.

It was a valiant effort DT. I was proud of this board. Shame on anyone who thought civility could win out. Your post was good and there were a few dozen decent responses before it went south. Some people just can't help themselves.

He is brutally honest and people can't handle it

Except about himself, which is the problem.
Sure he has no problem blaming players.. but, doesn’t hold himself to the same accountability.
Which comes across as deflecting his own failings.., which are plentiful.

As he’s the one getting paid millions, I’ll hold him to the higher standard.

Completely agree with you there. The brutal honesty would be great if a mirror was included during each of those interviews.

Peak banned Phil readily. Some of the posts are exactly the same except without the cleverness that Phil sometimes displayed.
