The staged act did what it was intended.......draw attention to a dying awards show. The issue now is how to deal with it!
I don’t think it’s staged and don’t get the whole “ratings are down” BS… folks Hollywood isn’t about to stop making films … because of this the Oscars are not going anywhere… this isn’t a season one new sitcom dependent of “ratings “ to survive… it’s an annual tradition… it ain’t going anywhere.
