Team stats with where each stat ranks in the nation.

I know in the past, Chris and jim revised how our recruiting clases would be, but I would be interested to know if anyone did any revisions after all the transfers etc.

I am not saying necessarily transfers being rated, but like the QB from PSU, mcmillion and davis coming in as 4 stars in the 2020 class right?

With the rivals point system, it would be interesting to see what schools "improved" via the transfer portal compared to their high school rankings. I guess in theory its better to do it like jim and chris do, because you can see the entire career of a player, but it seems like Pitt is generally improving their depth and quality with transfers in vs out (exluding addison)

I don't know if that makes sense?

It would be hard because some schools that overrecruit may drop, but it would be interesting to see who is winning in that second tier level.

Georgia is so loaded. Do you think we would have any starter from Pitt in this years Georgia football team two deep on their depth chart. Maybe Dennis? Possibly Izzy as 2nd or 3rd deep at best?

I'm thinking the January 21st basketball game against Florida State will be a day the football staff hosts some 2024 prospects. I'm not sure if they'll have one giant junior day or just spread it across both weekends at the end of the month. I'll post players that confirm to me they are coming.

The first one I've confirmed is Brody Kosin, a tight end from Michigan.

I know that +/- stats leave something to be desired, but how about these numbers from Pitt's bench players:

Nate Santos: +15
Guillermo Diaz Graham: +10
Jorge Diaz Graham: +2
Nike Sibande: +1

The first two are the ones that really stand out to me. Guillermo and Santos played about 12 minutes each - easily the most time either has seen since the beginning of the season - and I thought both were really solid in those minutes. Guillermo had 4 points, 5 rebounds (4 on offense), 2 steals, 1 assist and no turnovers. Santos scored 2 points (his buzzer-beater), grabbed 5 rebounds and didn't commit a turnover.

Jamarius Burton was the only starter to be on the plus side (he was +3).

College Football’s regular season is so much more exciting than the Playoffs. Granted the two semi finals were pretty good but that Championship game was unwatchable unless you come from Georgia.

The regular season had so many compelling games.

I don’t expect college football to look the same ten years from now. Money is pushing the landscape to a scenario of maybe ten (if we are lucky) teams who can compete financially to field super competitive teams.

Now have to keep it going and striving for even more!

What section does the Pitt band sit in for basketball home games?

so we are still not sure who it was??? if that is the case, these teasers are silly.

From Chris's last scholarship board update which was at 84, looks like we're about 82 right now.

Vincent Davis is still listed, however I can't imagine he's coming back. Derrick Davis takes his spot.

Wayne is going to the draft.

Scarton is gone.

That leaves Pitt at 82.

Good news on Butler's own Jake Kradel coming back along with Zubovic for the OL.

Hard to imagine that guys like Maloney and Nate Temple are both back at DE after spring drills. Nice if they are if the staff thinks they can contribute. We'll see.

Still need to hear about DTs Danielson and Green...hope they're back.

There's always some minor attrition after spring practice. Hopefully nothing significant. There's some CBs that have been around the program for 2-3 years that haven't made the depth chart yet. Perhaps may lose one or two of those guys. Wonder if both Mitchell and Renda would return for next year at TE? No comment Chris46

Plenty of room for additions at WR, TE. And an experienced LB would be helpful.

Is he coming back next year? I thought we could’ve used him a lot more this year. Runs hard.
