I Give Hammond A Lot of Credit

Whatever the situation was with his suspension, I have to give him credit on how he carried himself throughout this time, at least on gameday. I am a season ticket holder and I have watched Hammond all season on the sideline and I know it has been talked about previously on this site, but to be looking at the spector of a season long suspension, and still come out in his jersey and be the first to congratulate his fellow RB's, the offense in general, sit on the bench while coaches are talking to the RB's. This young man deserves a lot of credit. I can honestly say, I am not sure I would have carried myself the same way. Now no one sees practice or the off time, but I would imagine he was a model teammate, or Narduzzi would not have had him on the sideline.

Maybe he knew, or suspected he would see the field this year, but just going on the fact it was announced he would be suspended for the full season, I have a lot of respect for #6!

Wild times out west

Memphis, Tulane, UTSA, and USF turn down P12.

UNLV and AFA turn down P12.

Utah State accepts P12.

UNLV and AFA, who were to get special financial incentives to stay in MWC now reconsidering that.

Gonzaga seems to be going to the P12 for everything but football, which they dont have.

Even seeing UConn as a potential all-sports member. Not sure how much sense that makes for either party but you could certainly make arguments that it would. UConn football would get a spot in what could be the 5th best football league and if Gonzaga joins, the basketball league could be better than the Big East, especially since those MWC know how to game the NET and get all their teams into the NCAA Tournament. Gonzaga, UConn, San Diego State and then NET gamers Utah St, Boise, and Colorado St make for a good hoops league.

Maybe the P12 could add Temple or UMass to give UConn a traveling partner or would that dilution make it not worth bringing in UConn?
