i'm not normally a tailgater, but the weather and 5-0 may bring me out. Coming up with 5 from NOVA for the Pitt Cal futbol football doubleheader. What is the tailgate outlook?

…because I thought they were in danger of spiraling like Pitt did after the brawl last year, but they pulled off a big 4th quarter comeback against Kansas and now are up 24-0 AT Oklahoma St. Can’t say I saw this coming.

In a way, it keeps Neal Brown afloat, which is probably OK?

He said that Pittsburgh is an undefeated team and there is "not much difference in the 2 teams" referring to Pitt and UNC lol.

I mean I'm sorry but that comment is ridiculous. Pitt is 5-0 and UNC is 3-3 and I'm sorry but there is a big difference between the teams.

Pitt is much better.

Few things I think I think--

OL and DL are improving.

Holstein is improving with game experience.

Good road win in a tough venue.

The score was closer than it should have/could have been---No Pic 6 by UNC in red zone in the 1st quarter, given PItt's then field position, and the final score could have been either 37-17 or 41-17 depending on whether a PItt FG or TD would have been scored on that drive.

Of the way this board has shifted to focusing on our undefeated panthers. There was a lot of fluff on here during the summer 🤣. Please show up Saturday guys.

I was watching both games. SMU looks fast and balanced on O and D. That's going to be a difficult game down there.

Even though it’s against the Ravens the Bungles it’s always fun to watch the Bungles step on their own dicks.

I had a real bone to pick with Poni and Mueller on the Fan last week. Sometimes they act like they are the know all be all when it comes to football. Actually, they do all the time.

In any event an older yinzer called the show and said that the Steelers should have signed Flacco as their backup and they mocked and made fun of the guy. Why? Not because his salary alone is more than what the Steelers are paying all 3 of their guys…but because he stinks and no other team offered Flacco $40 million to be their starter.

I didn’t agree with the old guy, but I thought the radio hosts were completely wrong and unfair with the things they were saying about Flacco. Because in my opinion, the only reason Flacco isn’t getting paid is because he's 39. If he were 29, he’d have every team in the league without a franchise QB salivating over him. A QB that plays like him and is 29 would have an 300 million dollar payday. Ignore his age and just look at his play…he’s really really good. And he’s showing it again today. He’s like 9-1 in his last 10 starts. If you have to wins game or two, I’d take him in a heartbeat.

we have players like Eli,dez, louis, biles just to name a few kade bell should get a raise he is really good wondering what he makes, but this is a great thing

Anyone notice that FSU has the upper levels of their stadium tarped on one side and thus pushing the crowd all down to the lower levels for a game against Clemson?

I guess it’s the ACC’s fault that they have to resort to this.

Eli, man he is a big threat with his legs. Once again made some key passes. With about 2 minutes left he got lucky he didn’t throw a pic. Just eat the ball or throw it away especially when you have the best kicker in the nation.

Reid & the other backs didn’t have much running room. But Reid still dominated with 205 all purpose yards including a 72 yard catch. There are a ton of good backs around the country but I don’t think there is a better receiving back than Reid. He legit is another WR.

Baer not to single him out cause everyone on the OL needs to play better. But he’s been bad. Gives up more pressures than any OL in the ACC and gets costly penalties. Hope he can get it together.

Fitz, the numbers might not show it but he played really well . Got pressure up the middle, hit the QB and blew up the 4th down play freeing George to make the tackle.

Brewu also blew up a play. He basically overpowered his man walking him back to the quarterback. Kid is powerful.

Louis what more can you say, had the sack to end the game. The guy is explosive, all over the place and the best player on D.

Lots to clean up. But finally got a win at UNC, 5-0 and soon to be ranked in the top 25!
