point is if you are not playing the ball you are WRONG and will get obliterated out there

I don't know why it's hard to understand that finding the ball is only part of the equation. The very last part that usually lasts milliseconds at this level of football. There is ton more crap that has to happen before that millisecond that you have to decide to turn your head around.

JUST A PATHETIC 3RD DOWN CALL, ANOTHER LAME ROLLOUT PASS.

CANADA IS AWFUL.

I think we see more soft coverage in the second half, forcing OSU to string together 8-9 plays in order to score.

Because we have low Iq fans.

Ok. I'm as wishy/washy as you all. Pitt gives up yet another pass and I think they don't have a chance, then they claw their way back in.

More calmly, I have to say this team does not quit. Are they out-matched today? Probably- especially in the passing game.

But you can't question Narduzzi and his ability to keep at it. Find ways to get back in. Lots of mistakes, probably less talent than we'd like, but great heart and 31-24 is okay to me at this point.

We get the ball to start the half, need a TD, and then anything can happen. I am just shocked Western Michigan's D played so much better than ours

You and your 2 lapdogs can agree with you all day, the fact remains that kick was way way wide, not even close. You need some new glasses, like yesterday.

No matter how many times you say it it still won't be true. Go back and watch the replay, and I mean actually watch it, and then get back to me as to how far wide it was. I've got three yards, you've got 25. Let me know who is closer.

Go ahead, I dare you.

All I know is as soon as that kick left his foot it went nowhere near the goalposts. Not even close.

Lol back to today's game... this right here is why I would always, always, always defer to second half. Much more beneficial, big drive coming up for us to start the half.

In addition to our poor D, OkSt was clicking on O. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'm hoping adjustments work in our favor and tides turn. I don't kid myself that the secondary will get better, but maybe our Dline will get more pressure and our O will hold its own.

Yeah that's pretty much all I'm hoping for right now. Gotta pressure him into making a mistake.

It was missed by 15 yards after I reviewed the kick

You realize that 15 yards wide would mean that it crossed the end line much closer to the sideline than the goal posts, right?

Seriously, you guys need to start watching what actually happens rather than bitch about what you think might have happened.

Ollison with zero touches so far. I don't get the Hall love over him. Other than Hall being recruited by Narduzzi.

I like Hall but when you see Conner run the ball and then you see Hall, the drop off is clear as day.

THERE IT IS!!!!! Like some of us have been saying, no reason for these middle linebackers to be in if they're not gonna blitz them. What do ya know?... bring pressure from the LB's and force a fumble. That's we need to do this half!

Except Conner continues to try and bounce outside, which never works.
Agree, he is more of a battering ram and isn't gonna bounce outside and have success. But usually that happens because the line didn't do their jobs well enough. Still though, that has been pretty much turning a no gain into a 2 yard loss a lot.
