With Rust coming back I think he plays on Genoa line
A 3rd line of Horny Bjugstad and Blueger would be pretty good
The. You have Cullen Wilson and Simon or Aston Reese when he returns
First three lines are pretty darn strong
Add Tamger and the D has been shored up as well.
IF Murray can continue playing at the level he has been since he came back this team is poised for a strong cup run

DeSmith has been solid since he came in. Not saying Murray played poorly. Pens D was really shabby when he was in.

I think the Pens spent the morning along the parade route consuming adult beverages (insert snide Murray jokes here).
Anyways....if you are going to the lose a game, play poorly, lose 2 clean points, do it against St. Louis, not an Eastern Conf team you are battling with in the standings.

Isles lost at Detroit so at least the Pens stay 2 back of second place. The Caps are at Tampa so there’s a good chance the standings don’t change in the Metro.

I think it’s safe to say Murray played poorly.

Oh he definitely played poorly. He has to make at least 1 out of 3 saves on the 3 slot shots, and the 3rd goal should have never have happened. So maybe 2 goals, the Pens would have been still in the game.
It was just a bad game by Murray but everyone also.
Better against St Louis though than upcoming games against Carolina.
