Biggs positional flexibility and his ability to hit the threes his senior year were really big plusses but then again Taylor was one of the best rebounders in the country every year. So it was a win/win.

Nice. If you’re looking at the numbers, Stevenson had a nice freshman year (putting aside the context of: “who the hell else was going to score on that awful team?” which doesn’t matter for this exercise)

I think he has a chance to turn into a decent player if he gets into good shape. Jerome Lane will take him under his wing, and they will become workout warriors together. This is based off stats, so.......

Not really though. Donatas flaked out at the end of the last game of the season. The year that would be used for Seabrooks would (I assume) be his sophomore year, when he played the whole season. If you are using Yuri's senior year, he only played 14 games before he went off the rails.

We sure do have some contenders for the Pitt rouges gallery though, don't we.

I was looking at a couple guys, and he was one of them. But you didn't take the one I wanted, so go old school again and pick:

PG Billy Culberson, 6.8 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg

And another guy who played before the three point rule, so his ppg would probably have been a little better (although probably not a lot better) with the three than when he played.

Donatas gets an extremely bad rap on this board. He epitomized the Howland way of playing. TOUGH. Good rebounder. Good shooter. Knew how to play the game. He was wrong for what he did the last game but he was a pillar of this program. People Who knock him are way out of line.

He was a great panther. Julius was on the radio a few weeks ago and essentially said that Donatas was not someone he was necessarily friends with off the floor.

then a week or two later when Julius participated in that draft on the radio, Don was one of the first players he picked for his team. That shows you the respect that he had for him as a player and teammate.

I wanted him for my team. He went four picks before I would have taken him. He was one of those guys who just wanted to win, and he did what he could to make that happen. Tough as nails on the defensive end of the court.

He gets knocked because of the game he did it in. I loved the way he played and don't focus on that too much. However, when he did it was huge.
