I don't expect us to win but I expect the team to play with heart and disclipine. This is worse than anything I've ever seen under Wannstedt or Harris. This season can unravel real quick if they don't get their shit together and actually play decent football the rest of the game

I can see how Browne had a good completion percentage through 3 games at USC, but still lost his job.
Yup very disappointed in the execution and discipline. THey just dont look like they believe they can win either. I think some of that flows from the deer in the headlights qB TinoII
All we can hope for at this point is that the freshman get better as the year goes on, giving us hope for 2018. It could happen.
So the team cant tackle, Browne is terrible, lots of blatant penalties, just awful performance at home so far.

OMG, Briggs whiffed again, badly. He can't be allowed to start next week. They will watch the film.
To be fair, most programs are that. You have a few programs that have dominated college football for the last 50+ years. You then have a few programs that due to their recruiting advantage (a team like Miami), is able to dominate for a stretch before it goes back to the pack. And then you have the pack.
He recruits top 50 to 60, he will have no choice next year, cause a season like this next year, he will be gone
Our coaching stinks. Narduzzi is hell-bent on his "scheme", which is death against a team like OSU. There is simply no way we can cover these guys one on one. Take out one of our irrelevant LB's and put in an extra DB. Since we're at it, bench Dennis Briggs and put in either Miller or Campbell.
On offense, it's clearly time for a change at QB. Browne is not accurate even when he gets time. Looks like a deer in the headlights under any pressure. Dumps off on third and long giving us zero chance to convert.
Overall, our execution stinks and our game plans on both offense and defense are completely ineffective.

The thing is, if this was last years team, the offense would have just scored back. The D was not good last year either and could rarely stop people, but the offense was so good it made every game interesting. The reason we could beat Clemson and PSU (and hang in with anyone last year) was because our offense was night and day from what it is now. Peterman and Connor are very missed, as well as a lot of their lineman.
Pitt will win some games. Many, many things are wrong with this team, but we're playing one of the best teams in the country, with experience and leadership.
the problem is Pitt has not stopped OSU yet. Four possessions FOUR touchdowns. This is the issue it doesnt matter who the qb is
This game doesnt mean much in standings as we arent going to the playoff(although its embarrassing to get our butts kicked on ESPN), but if they want to win games in the ACC they are going to have to score more points (and obviously improve defensively, which I have seen little of in the last 2 years). No reason not to put DeNucci in to see what he can do here. Need to see if he is capable of being a ACC starting QB.
