dont know how anyone can watch this and think the biggest problem is quarterback. I dont think Browne is as bad as many on this board think he is
I haven't been watching the same game then. He has had time and open WR. He has simply missed all but one throw over 10 yards. Check down Brown.
Good thing we switched qbs. Now everyone is happy for the next game or so. When Georgia tech hangs 50 on Pitt with dinucci at qb, will we call for macvittie?
He's stubborn on two dimensions; first, he will stick to his scheme despite the complete lack of results. Secondly, he picks his players and sticks with them regardless of performance.
Good coaches adjust to the reality of their talent as well as what the opponent is doing.

Agree. Browne can throw when he has time, but he needs an unrealistic amount of time to make those throws, which he'll never get. His other problem is that he doesn't see the field well; can't see guys who are occasionally open.
Its simply not true that he sticks with players regardless of performance. The depth chart changes pretty regularly, based on performance. DiNucci is in the game now, a series or two late perhaps, but he made the change, based on performance.
You go ahead and yell around about qbs. I will yell around about crap recruiting and development.
The ACC is an athletic conference, but OK State is an athletic team. They would be fine, and one of the better teams in the confrence IMO, but there are some good teams they would have to face to get to the playoff (playing at VT,Miami is tough, some people dont get the GT option, depending on what side of the conference you are in have to face clemson, louisville, and FSU). They would probably be the best team in the Big 10, but the ACC is really competitive.
Are people here fully aware that Pitt is on pace to give up 100 points? You thought the Syracuse game was bad...
On a different note I hope Whitehead, Blair, Wirgins are enjoying this because this is on them too.

Just biding time to the next job like the last two. College programs know Pitt isn't serious about winning and don't hold it against coaches.
Not defending him but what defense would work with a young DL that gets no pressure, a LB corp that has no legit D1 talent, a safety that is awful and average corners
If Duzz is smart, he gets out after this year, Pitt doesn't try to win, they are one of the worst coach killers in the country. Until Nutting/Pitt brass try, I would stay far away from Pitt, and I love the place , very heartbreaking
You all really have no idea what a good job Wanny really did here. I mean he did decent without ZERO SUPPORT from the school
