Pitt looks like the 2021-22 version. Especially on defense. They can't defend anything and are getting run over by ND. This is what we would usually do to them. I just don't see us coming back from this deficit. Turning on Survivor.

Missed a ton of wide open 3s and foul shots, but giving up 42 points is unacceptable.
I doubt like hell we will come back from this. We should be on the bubble. We lose our last 3, which if we lose tonight, is quite likely, there will be alot of sweating it out on selection Sunday. Tonight has been woeful, I didn't think this team could suck like this.
If we lose this game and then lose to Miami, we should be on the Bubble, even if we win a game in the ACCT. But the way Pitt is playing tonight, I don't see that happening.
This team's defense has been bad for a while, you just don't really notice it when we are raining 3's at the other end.
Pitt lives by the 3 and line and they’re shooting 20% from both …..enough said .
One of the worst coaching jobs I've seen. They have 5 1000 point scorers. They are great shooters but cant defend. Just like us.
And would deserve to. Hopefully they realize this is the season. In the past a team could absorb the occasionally ugly game. But today, the garbage ‘metrics’ that moronically mean so much will punish this team severely for such a bad loss.
Kind of worried that we finally got ranked, and playing at ND, even a not good ND team, might be a hazardous combo. We should come back and get this.
It's going to be tough to come back from 14 down when ND is going to shoot a lot of 3's this half and they will only need to shoot 30% to keep us at bay.
Just out of curiosity, what do you think would have happened back in the old days of the RPI if you lost a game to a team that is 10-19?
Oddly enough, I thought I was listening to John Madden when I first heard him. Can’t get it out of my head now.
The funny thing is for all the bitching about the NET (and the underlying longing for a system like the RPI), we are actually ranked better in the NET than the RPI right now.
I like that we are going inside and getting fouls. Got to start hitting the FT though. Killing us tonight.
