Can some of you give the other team credit. Basketball is usually a game of runs. So what our PG turned it over it happens. If cam hits that three we have a nice lead. He is there to shoot, he missed. Good game so far. See what happens, how it plays out. Never impressed with Roy's coaching so edge to Dixon for adjustments.
Especially with a full shot clock, that shot was nuts. I actually thought Luther passed up on a 3 twice from the corner with 8 seconds left on the clock that he should have attempted.
UNC shot 57% and they are only up 4 pts. Good effort by Pitt so far. Disappointed in the way they allowed the Tarheels to close out the half, but overall a very good first half for Pitt.

UNC isn't good at all. Good compared to us, sure, but college hoops is so weak right now I can't respect any of these teams as good.
I also think the first half is closer to how our season should have been. We should have been a lot better and not lost to the dregs like the techs.

Exactly, that's the point. He was hot yesterday, he took some shots that deep, made some and missed some. But not only is it not a good shot, but so much more time could've ran off the clock. Even if we miss a shot later in the clock, Carolina probably scores one less time at the very least. Just terrible.
I'd also add the games every season that Williams single-handedly loses with poor game/clock management too. He can be a liability.
Don't see how James is going to hold up against this pressure defense for forty minutes. Guarantee those turnovers were at least partly due to fatigue. They are grabbing and holding him when he doesn't have the ball. Wish we had a capable backup.
Per st branch campus commercial on during game. The whole commercial is focused around going to a football game. Such a prestious university.
Agree wonder of some of these guys are watching the same game. We are going toe to toe with arguably the best team in the country yet the bitching & moaning continues. Newsflash - Carolina is really farkin good and we are playing with them & proving we are a legit NCAA Tourney team. Come on boys. Let's go Pitt!

Well said...UNC is a solid team, and will be one of the favorites to win it all...we are playing them evenly and I'm proud of the A effort were showing...PITT came to play today!

Possibly. But even if we're only down 1 or 2 that late, you pretty much have to go towards a more offensive lineup at that point. I think we'll see Maia back in within the next 5 min or so.
