They do.
It's not a big gulf... But they are a talented team.
They also play both ends, which makes them more talented than Pitt, who ignores defense too often.
Random thought, but the ability to defend should be calculated into the overall talent equation. Artis doesn't defend. I'm sure Dixon has tried to get him too, but he simply can't or won't.
Bennett would never have someone like Artis on his roster then. He recruits players who can play in his system, not always the most talented
And I'll join this bandwagon as I was just gonna say the same thing as well. I don't care if it's effort or ability but VA is well ahead of Pitt on D.

This is the most frustrating team to watch in some time , I remember when we had guys that wanted to play defense , these guys just want to score , can't defend anybody , remember when top teams lost at the Pete on the regular ? Yea those days are long gone , this team is an embarrassment
The fallacy of the Assist to TO as making a big deal.
JROB has 5 assists to Zero TO's. First off, does anyone remember ANY of these assists actually creating a scoring opportunity? Me neither. But he has zero TO which equals the zero points he has scored.

Need a lot more NYC / Philly / Detroit nastiness & toughness on this Roster.
At least we won't have to worry about Jamie extorting Pitt for more money. He's already stealing a pay check.
