Steelers/Redskins

That is literally just about the worst spot I’ve ever seen in my life. I don’t know if he got it but they missed by a full yard.

Costly win. I rolled my ankle bad 3 weeks ago and still have trouble. Can’t imagine Highsmith being back in under a month…at best.

Damn, I thought after yesterday it was gonna be one of those Pittsburgh football weekends.
Nope. Steelers pull it out .

It's felt different with Russ. This defense has gotten worse, but it feels like we're a real team again, rather than a mash unit trying to get by with an albatross at QB. Plus the Chiefs seem kind of mortal at the moment.

I rolled mine like that 2 years ago slipping off a shovel digging out a flax bush. It's just now about back to about 90%.

Yea - the AFC doesn’t seem quite as daunting. The Ravens defense isn’t any good. Probably will be when the Stillers play them but they’re nowhere near the same.

I did mine over 35 years ago and it was never the same. I could still do anything I wanted to do but treatment/rehab wasn’t as good as it is today. Every doc I saw said I’d have been better off if it had just snapped.

I call him red zone Russ.

Four tds today.

Usually that would have been 3 FGs and a TD.

I can do everything but skate on my
outside edge with that skate. I usually play goalie so that doesn't matter. But when I skate out it's a problem. I can't lean into that edge to turn tight or change direction.

Every single person in the stadium knew that the Steelers were not snapping that other than that one D lineman for the Commanders.

It was so obviously a situation where we were not going to snap it that I was thinking we might be able to catch them on their heels if we actually did snap it. Little did I know...

It’s just typical tribalism. I mean, if one wants to argue that he’s not worthy of the #32 pick, that’s fair. Poker compared him to Artie Burns, which is also fair because Artie was a #1 pick.

But he’s obviously way better than Burns objectively, as he’s often trusted to match up with the other teams best receiver. For guys to say he’s horrible, call him Toast, should be out of the league, etc…that’s just crazy talk.
He's been bad all season not sure what you are talking about.

Hopefully Highsmith's injury is not season ending. I did something like that years ago. I turned my ankle going down some steps. I didn't break anything, but it hurt like hell when I did it. My ankle was black and blue for a few weeks. I'd say he's going to be out at least 4 weeks if nothing is torn or broke.

Simply not true. Case in point…watt and Highsmith had 0 tackles today. Do you think they didn’t impact the game? Of course they did. Same can be said about Peezy Jr. He’s not always great, but he’s counted on to do things within this defense…and he does it more times than not. But today Peezy wasn’t good.
