Lets face it Kenny may be

Too soon to label a bust considering his OC but no denying he has lost some confidence and missing some easy plays. But kudos on TD pass. Made play when needed. It would be nice to see how he plays with competent coaching.

Pickett has not played well. He’s bad until the last few minutes of the game and then he is focused. That tells me he is too mechanical and thinks too much for most of the game.

I can’t help to think how much better he could play if he had a better OL and better play calling. They could also use another playmaker at WR.

Having said that, Johnson, Freirmuth and Austin being out didn’t help either today….

I do not think it is much coincidence that they protected him better today and Moore was out/Jones was in.

I would like to see them upgrade at C and add a little more speed to the WR room during the off-season.

It is obvious that they need to bring in an OC more in time with the NFL and hopefully someone that can maximize Pickett.

He is still just a second year player and it is clear to see he has some good aspects like accuracy and moxie. He has happy feet and is still inexperienced. It would be nice to see them bring in an OC that played better to his strengths.

Given how well the Joey Porter Jr. thread has gone so far, I for one welcome this proclamation.

Toast is lucky as shit. Clear PI vs the Browns. Horrible pass by Lamar. I could have easily picked that one off
I’m certain this would be the more likely outcome

It's a miracle he's done as well as he has done in spite of the OL, the OC, hurt WR's and the head coach. He hasn't performed up to expectations yet. I think he deserves a chance to use his talent once he's starts to ignore his OC.

I think you can list all the ifs/ands/buts, but the numbers don’t lie at the end of the day. The sample size isn’t huge to this point, but he’s only allowed one reception thus far with a pass deflection and an INT in clutch moment this season. For a second round pick, that’s all you can ask for.

He doesnt play much. He has gotten really lucky on 2 game deciding plays.
