This game doesnt mean much in standings as we arent going to the playoff(although its embarrassing to get our butts kicked on ESPN), but if they want to win games in the ACC they are going to have to score more points (and obviously improve defensively, which I have seen little of in the last 2 years). No reason not to put DeNucci in to see what he can do here. Need to see if he is capable of being a ACC starting QB.

And it seems like most of the teams in the ACC are going in the right direction. That's the scary part. So many teams in the conference seem as if they are building a foundation and an identity. Their recruiting is improving. Etc. You look at Pitt, and why would anybody expect this team to beat VT or Miami in the Coastal? Even Duke looks like it's heading in a better direction as a program.

Narduzzi is one stubborn SOB. His defensive scheme is total shit against a team like OSU. Furthermore, he trots out the same lame players (Dennis Briggs, Jones-Smith, Browne). Our base defense will NEVER stop OSU. Our offense is flat out boring. Dink and dunk, can't get the ball down the field. Simply horrible.

This is going to be a very, very long season.

PSU should have crushed this team

Rivalry games are different. Pitt played inspired football last week. It's a tall order to get that same kind of effort 3 weeks in a row, and next weeks game is much more important than this one. This is a bad matchup for Pitt, both on the field & where it falls on the schedule. Also, OKST is just a lot better.

PSU probably would have crushed Pitt had McSorley not sucked out loud last week. He was horrible.
