"Very good" is
very subjective. Tino Sunseri was a QB most people I think would agree was an average QB. Prior to Kenny's 5th year, he @ his best was basically Tino Sunseri. When was Kenny better then Jaylen Twyman (All American)? He wasn't a better player then Quadree Ollison or Darrin Hall back in 2018. He wasn't better then Jones or Weaver in 2020. I'm not sure in his record breaking season he was actually better then Kancey. Was he better then Addison?
There were teams that were reported had Kenny as the #1 QB but would not have drafted him until round 2 or 3. Kiper reported on this on the day of the draft. It was considered an extremely weak year for QB's.
"The experts had Pickett, Willis, Corral and Ridder in a very tight cluster, all being selected by the end of the second round. If the rest of the league didn’t view these players as nearly as viable as the experts, where did the rest of the league view Pickett? It is hard to imagine the same league that viewed Willis as the No. 86 player considered Pickett 66 picks better." https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2022/05/03/2022-nfl-draft-kenny-pickett-malik-willis/
I have zero agenda. I simply don't care enough about how well a PITT player does in the NFL. I really only care about how they play for PITT.
This horse is beyond dead, lets move on.
