Tom Brady should just say it: “I’ve seen this Mike Tomlin team plenty of times and I would rip this one apart just like the others.” He has to be thinking it.
Yep. Almost always had a bad oline. Always had a bad coordinator and play caller, and often had a depleted/injured receiving corp.
Essentially it looked like the first two quarters of this game.

Only having one threatening receiver in Pickens is not great as it is, but without Pickens the Steelers just have nobody who can consistently threaten a defense. Especially not a good defense like this.

I'll give Russ credit for battling. I doubt Hurts would look as good as he has if he had to play with the Steelers skill players.

He could have called a timeout with like 1:50. And then he let it run down so far that it got to a point when it was more valuable to have the timeout than to call it. It was a double whammy. Dude is unbelievable.

If I’m an NFL coach I tell my players at the start of the year that anyone thats going into the end zone uncontested and lets go of the ball before they cross the line is getting benched or cut. It is the most stupid thing I’ve ever seen and has almost unbelievably happened twice more today. Totally inexcusable.

Actually, I think they’re something like 4-0 or 5-0 against current playoff teams.
That said, there are a lot of mediocre teams in the league right now, and it is a matchup thing. They have done well against the Ravens and other fringe wild card type teams. But there is a clear divide between them and teams like the Bills, Eagles, Lions. Chiefs have been iffy too though.
They fought back some here today but that fumble lost them the game. Defense could have done their part too but it’s too inconsistent.
It’s because our best WR is hurt so the offense is easier to defend .
Also we are playing the best defense in the nfl - not the Browne

With a lackluster WR room, missing him or a TE, etc is painful. Take a weapon away from a Steeler offense and Struggles will ensue. Kenny often had to win in a bad offense, minus a Muth or a TJ and he found ways to win ugly.
5 tackles today and he cuts the field in half. He’s not the problem. The people on this board who single him out of all people are embarrassing.
In the run game they are. Show that you’re not biased and call out everyone else who misses tackles. It happens pretty often. But I know…joeys a Nitter!!!
If you have a conservative mind set because you think your defense is better than it is, then you better play almost perfect everywhere else. Didn’t happen today.

All of those things have nothing to do with Pickens being out of the game. In fact, he would be good for another bad penalty and undisciplined play.

He blows. Nothing to do with where he went to school. You guys are overcompensating in the other direction in an effort to look impartial. He is awful this season.
