Steelers vs Bengals Game Thread

Should have gone for two there.
I don’t think it was a conscious decision, am assuming the thought never crossed his mind.
I’ve seen them discuss this the past two MNF games now. Analytically, what would be the advantage to going for two down 14? Obviously you can win the game if you get the second TD, but would that be a risk worth taking when our offense has struggled in short yardage situations?

Haven’t tackled all that well tonight either, their guys keep falling forward after contact.

Lol. Just when you need the D to make a stop they turn into Swiss cheese giving up yardage on the ground

Bungals, being the Bungals...I wouldn't entirely rule out them throwing the ball here on 3rd down in some stupid and silly play call.

Game right here. My guess is Finley will beat them in the edge with another option run

I gave a fuller explanation in the thread about the Florida - Alabama game the other night but essentially if you go for two you increase your chance of winning if you score the second touchdown from 50% to 62.5% if you go for two.

Good thing Fitzpatrick came up to make that stop because that was 2 plays in a row TJ went full bire towards the RB not even remotely acknowledging Finley might keep it and take off.

Credit to the Bungals, no prevent. They're being aggressive

Interesting, would’ve never known that.

that kinda looked like PI. Looked like he smacked down on Claypool's arm.
